A friend who touched many lives and who made a lot of people smile.

Thanks for the memories that are flooding back now that you are no longer with us – your smiling voice, the allergy I ended up having after your dare, the foxtail, the russian language book, the opera and the gods, the tomme de savoie, carmen quickly, william darlymple, the new year in oxford, getting my brother locked out the night before his wedding, the shoes and shirt that you had to borrow, the cheeky propositions, the album of ‘don’t’ songs, cif and many more. You went through a lot and I hope that you are resting in peace.
